Presidential Candidates on Religion

In many ways, the 2008 Presidential Election will be a defining point in American politics.  An important issue for me is whether the U.S. will continue it’s downward slide into the real of politics based on religion or if we’ll pull ourselves out of this descent into superstition.  The Pew Forum on Religion & Public Life has posted a page entitled The Candidates on Church and State.  While the information is brief, it does provide some insight into voting records and past stances.  I hope people will consider voting against those candidates would lead us further down the path that George Bush has established.  With any luck, there’s some bright points in our future (it’s hard to see how things could get much worse).
